REPORT: KAEPERNICK ASKS TO BE TRADED.

Just one day after the San Francisco 49ers announced that they intended to keep quarterback Colin Kaepernick this season...he has asked the team to trade him, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin.

With the 49ers previously stated intentions to keep Kaepernick, it would seem that the only way another team will get him would be via trade.

However if the 49ers were to cut him before April 1st, Kaepernick's entire 11.9 million base salary would be voided, saving them roughly $8.5 million in cap space. Stay Tuned.
