DeAza celebrates with Tomlinson after hitting the walk off sac fly that scored Byrd. Giants win 3-2 and beat LA in 12 innings! I read this quote and got a good chuckle: "Trevor Brown bat-flipped an extra-innings walk. Rookie is having one hell of a night!" Let's Go Giants! Let's Go Giants! Let's Go Giants!
Here's an interesting side note: This is where tonight's starting lineup was on April 29th when we faced Greinke:
Starting (Pagan) Triple-A (Parker) Bench (Duffy) Starting (MVPosey) Starting (Crawford) Cincinnati (Byrd) Double-A (Tomlinson) Triple-A (Brown) DL (Peavy)
So only 3 were starting for the Giants, and Byrd was starting as a Red, the rest were rookies or still in the minors! Who woulda thunk it?! Our Boys are amazing! Our farm system is great!
