If you're just dying for the season to start (on 4/4/16 - excellent even numbered Opening Day!), I've found a really good book, and two of the main characters are a catcher and a pitcher. It's not a baseball book per say, but it takes place in and around a baseball team. I'm only 200 pages in to the 512 page book, but so far I absolutely love it! Great character development and impeccable writing. BTW, I found it on Amazon in very good condition for one cent! (Plus $3.99 shipping) It has been entertaining me as I wait for 2016 San Francisco Giants baseball to start!
