Bonus #TBT! Do you recognize this great guy? He's a former MLB pitcher for the Phillies, Cubs, and Giants. He was originally drafted as a catcher, but decided to go to college at Cal Poly SLO where he still holds the record for lowest ERA, at 1.92. He pitched professionally from '76 to '89, spending most of his career as a Gman, and retiring here.
He has 5 kids and lots of grandkids whom he moved to Reno to be near in the off season. Obviously, he is also one half of our favorite, and the very best commentators in MLB, Kruk and Kuip. I was at his first and last game at Candlestick. Ya gotta love Mike Krukow! Grab some pine, Meat! ⚾️
