Congratulations to our Horse, Matt Cain, who became the first SP to pitch 60 innings at AT&T Park last night vs. LA. He surpassed Big Time Timmy Jim by 1 inning!
He also became only the 12th pitcher in franchise history to throw over 2,000 innings. The last 2 guys to do it were Hall-of-Famers Juan Marichal and Gaylord Perry. Wow, talk about impressive company! It sure is wonderful to see Big Daddy Cainer having a great year, after most of us thought he was done as a starter. Amazing job, Matt! Congratulations! ⚾️
