Here's the state of the Giants Nation as it stands right now: LA clinched the NLW today, so our only chance at post season play is a wild card slot. We are currently in an extremely tight WC race with the Mets and the Cards who both won today. The Mets are 1 game ahead of us and we are tied with the Cards.

We have 6 more games, all at home. The Rockies come in on Tuesday for a 3 game series, and then on Friday, 9/30, LA comes in for our final series. I hope you get well rested tomorrow on your off day, and get ready to battle!

Depending on how the Mets, the Cards, and we play, will decide the wild card race. If we end up tied, we could end up in a 1 game playoff. It's a bit complicated, so I'll leave it at that unless we get there.

Interestingly, Vin Scully, the legendary broadcaster for the Dodgers, who grew up in NYC as a NY Giants fan, will call his last game at AT&T on the last day of the regular season. CSNBA will air Vin calling the 3rd inning that day which will be cool for those of you who have never heard this MLB super star, as he ends his 67 year career in our yard!

C'mon Gigantes! You can do it! Put on your playoff pants and win this WC spot and keep on fighting to the very end. Let's Go Giants! YES! YES! YES!
