Most of you know that Buster's mom is a teacher. In his own way, Buster is also a teacher, especially helping rookie pitchers on and off the mound. BPFZ also loves to teach. There are only 35 more games this season, and then after a few weeks of vacation, we will be back here posting as much as possible. We'd like to know in advance what any of you would like to learn more about? There are fans at every level of baseball knowledge here, and we get a lot of questions. A few things I can think of off the top of my tired head are: the balk, the shift, various stats which can be confusing, what it takes for a starting pitcher to earn the win, little known rules (teams are allowed a 26-man roster if playing a double header), what does DFA mean, what's the difference between DFA and optioned ... I could go on and on, but I want questions from y'all! I won't be answering them today, but will save every one of them to answer when the season ends. Sound good Giants fans?! I hope so! Let's beat the Brew Crew again tonight!
