On this day, just 2 short years ago, the world watched one of the all-time great post season performances by our San Francisco Giants, and a young pitcher named Madison Bumgarner. Known to the Giants Faithful as MadBum, or simply just Bum, this 25 year old starting pitcher came in to game 7 of the 2014 World Series vs. the Kansas City Royals as a reliever in the 5th inning. And the rest, as they say, is history. But in this case, this performance truly will go down in MLB history as one of the greatest of all time.

Appropriately, Bum was awarded the series MVP. The Buster Hug when it was over was epic! Here's a 3 minute video reminder for your viewing pleasure. My favorite moment was when Bum came jogging out of the pen, and the entire Royals crowd booed him. They didn't know they were just feeding the Beast! What was your favorite moment of this game?
