Say it ain't so, Romo! It appears that one of our most popular characters, with his pink backpack, his awesome photo bombs, and his hilarious t-shirts, has signed a 1 year contract with LA, pending the outcome of a physical. (I have read conflicting reports that there's another team trying to sign him. But most reports say he's signed with LA, and SoCal is where he grew up, so it makes sense that he may want to be near his family again-- strictly my opinion.)
His Giants career included, but was not limited to: 9 seasons, a 2.58 ERA, 84 saves, an All-Star appearance, 3 rings, and one of the "ballsiest pitches you'll ever see," (according to Alex Pavlovic of CSN) thrown to one of the best hitters in baseball to win game 4 of the 2012 World Series, sweeping the Tigers, and earning him a sweet, sweet #BusterHug!
Sergio Romo was a true San Francisco Giants Gamer who always gave 100%. We absolutely understand that this is a very sad and disappointing move for Giants fans, but we hope that your comments will remain respectful. You've always been a high class crowd, and we know you'll stay that way!
