⚾️ Three things: the Angels DFA The Freak. Too bad he didn't swallow his pride and take the deal the Giants offered him to work out of the pen. Who knows, maybe he will be a Gman again after all! Watch out when we go to the expanded roster on 9/1.
⚾️ Second, our beloved Duffman will be interviewed by Marty Lurie before the game tomorrow morning at 8:30. ⚾️ Last but not least, how 'bout new guy, Eduardo Nùñez?! I'm not 100% certain about this, but I believe he joins Will the Thrill Clark and Willie Mays as the only 3 Giants to have a double and 2 triples in one game. Now if that's not great company, I don't know what is! Keep it up Eduardo "Triple Threat" Nùñez!
⚾️ Bonus question: are any of you interested in learning about some more of the fundamentals of baseball? Like the (ever changing) rules and some of the weird terminology and meaning of acronyms? I have a 30 year employee of the Giants and a pro baseball ump on my advisory panel, so if I don't know, I can quickly find someone who does! Please let me know if you're interested in this. I don't want to do it if no one needs it, and there is absolutely no shame in not knowing! I love learning new things, especially about my favorite game, baseball!
