Unfortunately, our 2-time Golden Glove SS will not be activated for tonight's game vs. the Mets. He'll play another 7 innings with the AA Flying Squirrels in Richmond, VA. Crawford played 6 innings for Richmond on Monday and went 1 for 3 with a double as he tested his strained right groin. But the medical staff deemed that he needed a little more activity to be certain.
“We just feel he needs another day,” said Boch.
