We asked a trivia question about Boch early this morning, and so far no one has gotten the answer. (Thank you for playing fair - BPFZ peeps are the best!) I said that Boch was the first to achieve two accomplishments as a MLB manager. Can you name them? The answer is: our Skipper is both the first foreign-born manager to reach the WS (1998 with the Friars) and the first European born manager to win the WS (2010 with our beloved San Francisco Giants)! Bochy grew up an Army Brat, moving all over the country and the world with his family. He was born in 1953. Can you name the country he was born in, again without the help of a search engine?!
