He has been a beloved member of the Giants with so many great moments, but perhaps none better than this one. Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and teammates of Yordano Ventura, the 25 year old pitcher for the KC Royals who was killed in a car accident in his native Dominican Republic on Sunday. Giants fans may remember him as the rookie pitcher who threw 7 shut out innings in game 6 of the 2014 World Series, winning the game and forcing a game 7. In his brief career he was instrumental in helping the Royals win 2 pennants and a World Series. Our hearts go out to his family and the Royals. May you rest In peace...
