Sad news today. Soannie Mendoza, the wife of our beloved former Giant Andres Torres, passed away last night following a battle with cancer. Our hearts are with Andres, his son Diego, and the entire family in their loss.

#TBT Buster and Timmy on July 13, 2013 in San Diego after Lincecum's first no-hitter. Buster said this was his favorite hug. Some people have been inquiring about #55. We don't know any more than y'all: after signing with the Angels in 2015, he's now a FA. If we hear any news about Tim, we will keep you posted!

Our new closer, Mark Melancon, said that throwing to Buster was a big factor in making the decision to join the Giants. We all know he's the best catcher in MLB, so of course it was!
