There are legends, and then there are legends. Vin Scully, the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for 67 years will retire at age 88, calling his last game at AT&T ParK for the regular season finale. Widely regarded as the best the game has ever known, his broadcast will be picked up in part by ESPN, KNBR and CSN, including clips of his most memorable calls. We salute Vin Scully, and wish him the best in his retirement. He is truly a national treasure, and thank him for his incomparable contributions to this game of baseball we all love...

Happy Birthday Matt Cain! Cain was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2002 draft right out of high school. He made his MLB debut on Aug 29, 2005, becoming the youngest player in the NL that year at age 20. He was named an All-Star in 2009 for the first time in his career, and went on to be named an All-Star in 2011 and 2012.
