I had to get this off my chest via video. Rams or not that was a huge win. Still work to do, but big win just the same. Regardless of who we played and how they played we as a team had a job to do, we still had to execute and make plays and we did so in dominating fashion. Aside from the 3rd qtr, we finally got things going even with a mediocre to bad performance from Blaine. No penalties til the 4th qtr, 4 for 4 in the red zone, no FG attempts, no delay of game calls, no sacks allowed. When's the last time that happened? LOL. And against a stout Rams front 7. Hell yeah I'm juiced and as fans we all should be. Now this week we're onto Carolina for a true test. They're coming off a very disappointing loss to Denver, in which Cam got abused so they're quite bitter. So what though. We go in there keep pressure on Cam and make him uncomfortable (hurries, hits, knockdowns etc), stuff them running lanes, play disciplined coverage and D, keep the running game going and we'll be okay. The secondary will truly be tested, but I hunk Jim O'Neil will have us ready. Our OLB's are gonna actually have to cover (and not just be edge rusher) at times as well with Olsen out there. My guess is we'll bring in Tartt to cover/help cover Olsen. Damn sure need another heavy dose of Hyde/the running game and better game outta Blaine though. Cmon Blaine you gotta take shots (and hit them) down field bro. Gotta make them/teams respect you and our passing game. If not, they'll handicap us much like they used to do to Alex by making us one dimensional and stacking the box. You can't afford to be missing QP butt naked (wide open) across the middle bro. Look, let's go out here and prove folks wrong and shock the world and do what we do. This kinda reminds me of that 2011 team nobody gave a chance in Harbaugh's first year. Let's go get it!
