KEEPING IT THOUGHTFULLY HONEST: Some historical stories about some of our 49er greats over the years! There were so, so many special and great ones as well as HOFers before the arrival of Coach Walsh, Mr. De Bart. & the start of our SuperBowls. I was a poor kid and could not afford going to games and at time there was limited TV. But growing up in enemy territory ( L.A. Rams) I had to search on Sunday evenings for our final game score of my team. But Win or lose, this is my team that I fell in love with and formed a permanent bond since 1955. I remember realizing my Childhood dream come true and seeing my one and only game when they beat Floyd Little and Denver Broncos at Kezar Stadium in 1971. Check it out faithful.
The Faithful: The Throwback
On episode 8 of "The Faithful," all it took was one play watching the 49ers at Kezar Stadium and Martin Jacobs was hooked for life.
