Sounds like Blanco is heading to the 7 day concussion list. Jarrett Parker is already in New York to take his spot. Blanco was struck in the head by an errant warmup throw from Brandon Belt in the Phillies game. The irony is of course that Belt suffered a similar injury last year when Scuraro accidentally did the same thing to him.
On a good note....Matt Cain has said he feels more normal than he's felt in a long time after his first rehab start last night. That's a huge step as he comes back from the elbow/flexor strain. The injury is one that has the potential to get worse if it isn't allowed to fully heal. Heston has really allowed that to happen.
