Ok. Get ready for a crazy day. The story is really injuries. Pagan could be activated today. Duffy has a sprained ankle. Craw is still likely out. Blanco couldn't start last night as originally scheduled. What if I told you that Juan Perez might be getting serious consideration as at least the backup 3b, or even at 2b??? Might Frandsen or Cabrera be on a plane from Omaha with Pagan?
Last night was an incredible tale really. Bloopers, injuries, and a pit bull on the mound who keeps proving the doubters wrong. Possibly the grittiest win I can recall with all the stories in play. I'm not predicting all out mayhem, but be ready for the lineup today. There is nobody on the bench almost. All hands on deck. The thought of a double switch is nearly funny. Even madbum can't pinch hit later. Leake can hit, but coming off a hamstring problem I'm not sure he's fit to run the bases fully. Not to mention Affeldt was injured by his own kids on the off day. I cannot wait to see today.
