It was reported last night Tim Hudson will be removed from the rotation as Mike Leake enters it. Sounding as if Hudson would go the pen, meaning Petit might be the most likely guy on the outs. If you have to replace a fireball and great teammate like Hudson, better make it known you are all in. Signs pointing in the direction that Leake is thrilled to be a Giant. He knows the Bochy family and is from California.

Leake has always pitched well in San Francisco (2.59 ERA). Also is red hot: 4-1, 1.25 ERA in July.

Pitching prospect Keury Mella and Infielder Adam Duvall are heading to the Reds, source says.
