This is the photo I wanted to post and have it be true. In the long awaited pitching duel between Bum and Kershaw, Bum clearly won. In the process, he recorded his 31st career 10-strikeout game, second in franchise history to Timmy who has 36. He will pass 36 next season and be at the top.
But his age showed when he started a fight because Puig "stared him down." So in the big picture, Puig got his goat, caused him to be pulled early, and our bull pen lost it for us. Again.
Barring some sort of miracle, our chances of winning the NLW are over, and the chances of getting a WC slot are dim, too. That was just heartbreaking. Another 1 run loss in the ninth.
