So it's confirmed: Billy Hayes and Roberto Kelly have been replaced by Jose Alguacil (1B coach) and Phil Nevin (3B coach) who were both promoted from the minors. How do the BPFZ Peeps feel about this? I had been hearing rumors about Kelly making too many mistakes and possibly getting fired since last season. We've got a new member of the Giants family! Congratulations to Kelby and Tiffany Tomlinson who just welcomed a beautiful baby boy to the world! This is Huck McCoy Tomlinson. I think he'll grow up to follow in his father's footsteps because if that isn't a great baseball name, I don't know what is?! He's got big hands, so maybe a catcher?!

Congratulations to the World Champion Chicago Cubs! After 108 years, it's finally happened, and it happened in dramatic fashion in Game 7, in the Cleveland Indians yard, after a rain delay with the score tied, and in extra innings! Wow, what a game, and what a well deserved championship for the Cubbies! ⚾️
