Here's the state of the Giants Nation as it stands right now: LA clinched the NLW today, so our only chance at post season play is a wild card slot. We are currently in an extremely tight WC race with the Mets and the Cards who both won today. The Mets are 1 game ahead of us and we are tied with the Cards. We have 6 more games, all at home. The Rockies come in on Tuesday for a 3 game series, and then on Friday, 9/30, LA comes in for our final series. I hope you get well...

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and teammates of Jose Fernandez, the 24 year old Miami Marlins pitcher who was killed in a tragic boating accident this morning along with 2 of his friends. Heartbreaking.
