Sadly, it's time to say so long to our Freak. Pending the results of a physical, Giants former FRHP (Freakish RHP!) will sign with the LA Angels as a starting pitcher, which is what he wanted. The Giants would only sign him as a reliever. He started with the Giants in 2007, and stayed through the 2015 season, when a hip injury last June put him on the DL, and his contract was up while he was still working to rehab his hip, so he was not signed by any team last summer.
