Thank you to all of you amazing Buster and Giants fans for making this another fun year for the Buster Posey Fan Zone! We wouldn't be the same without all of your smart, witty, fun and sometimes hilarious comments! And this year especially you have been extremely gracious about sharing your pictures of Buster and other players with us which we truly appreciate! Last game of the Giants season. Madison Bumgarner was due to pitch, but Matt Cain is finishing the season today. But let's take this moment to acknowledge what a beast Mad Bum has been this year. Madison Bumgarner (0-for-53) & Zack Greinke (0-for-50) were the only MLB pitchers in 2015 not to allow a hit to a pitcher (min 25 PA). He also has 17 hits and 5 homers--which for a pitcher is AWESOME! He's known for working hard in the offseason. It will be great to see what he brings next year. Country Strong!

Today was Huddy Day, but tomorrow is Affeldt Day, and sadly, the end of this long, tough season. Huddy was a consummate pro who played with heart and will be sorely missed. Jeremy Affeldt will go down in the baseball history books with the likes of Babe Ruth! And we were blessed to call him ours for 7 seasons! His post-season ERA is the 3rd lowest in MLB history, at .86 he beat out Babe Ruth by only 1/100 of a point - amazing!
