Beloved 36 year old left-handed relief pitcher Jeremy Affeldt announced his retirement today, after 7 seasons with the Giants. He has been an invaluable member of the team, on and off the field. His post season ERA an unbelievable 0.86, third lowest in MLB. He was the winning pitcher in game 7 of the 2014 World Series, coming to close after Bum did his magic.
